Origin Lighting is a conceptual lighting company I created for a college branding assignment, where I was tasked with developing a visual identity for a professor-selected industry. To bring something unique to a lighting brand, I designed a simple yet memorable logo centered around a lighthouse—symbolizing guidance, clarity, and safety. This symbolic direction set the brand apart from typical lighting identities and reflects my continued commitment to intentional, meaning-driven logo design.
In addition to the logo system, I designed a fully branded webpage that showcased the company’s visual identity across multiple tabs and interface elements. The website reflected the clean, guiding-light concept established in the logo, integrating cohesive layouts, color choices, and typographic decisions that tied back to the brand’s core narrative. This project helped strengthen my branding process by pushing me to think beyond aesthetics and consider symbolism, storytelling, and consistency across both print and digital applications—an approach I continue to carry into every logo and brand system I develop moving forward.
